Poker chips are available in various weights. Some resellers claim that the standard "Casino" weight is 11.5 grams - this is not true. Standard Vegas casino chips weight in between 8 and 10 grams (average 9 grams) and are made of true clay composition - these are not quite 100% clay poker chips - as this composition would not bind together correctly - but do contain a small amount of special plastic. Some people prefer the heavier weight and as well as offering these clay poker chips at 9 grams we also offer 11.5 gm poker chips and the heavy weight 14 gram clay poker chips.
